Day 01 :

Arusha → Tarangire National Park

Driving: Approximately 2–3 hours
Activity: Game drive

Your family adventure begins with a morning departure from Arusha toward Tarangire National Park.

The relatively short drive makes Tarangire an excellent first destination for families. As you enter the park, the scenery opens into a beautiful landscape of grasslands, acacia woodland, seasonal wetlands, and enormous baobab trees.

Begin your game drive with your professional safari guide. Tarangire is particularly famous for its large elephant populations, and your family may also encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes, monkeys, and lions.

Your guide can make regular stops during the game drive, allowing everyone to relax, take photographs, and enjoy the surroundings.

Enjoy lunch before continuing your afternoon wildlife exploration.

Later, leave the park and proceed to your family-friendly accommodation.

Day 02 :

Tarangire → Serengeti National Park

Driving: Approximately 4–6 hours depending on route and stops

After breakfast, begin your journey toward the legendary Serengeti National Park.

Day 03 :

Full-Day Serengeti Safari

Activity: Morning & afternoon game drives

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Serengeti, giving your family more time to enjoy the wildlife without having to pack and travel between destinations.

Start with a morning game drive when wildlife is often active. Your guide will select areas based on current wildlife activity and your family's interests.

The Serengeti provides excellent opportunities to observe predators and herbivores. Your family may encounter prides of lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, hyenas, gazelles, and many bird species.

Depending on the season, you may also encounter parts of the Great Wildebeest Migration. Since the herds move according to natural conditions, exact locations and sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Return to the lodge for lunch and some family relaxation before heading out for an afternoon game drive.

As the sun begins to set, return to camp for dinner.

Day 04 :

Serengeti → Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Activity: Morning game drive + scenic transfer

Wake up early for a final morning game drive in the Serengeti.

This provides another opportunity for your family to enjoy the wildlife and landscapes before beginning the journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Your guide will continue watching for wildlife along the route as you leave the Serengeti and travel toward the Ngorongoro Highlands.

The landscape gradually changes from the open Serengeti plains to the dramatic volcanic scenery surrounding Ngorongoro.

Day 05 :

Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha

The crater's enclosed ecosystem supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, making it an exciting destination for families.

During your game drive, look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, and numerous bird species.

The crater is also an important habitat for the black rhinoceros, although sightings are never guaranteed.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in a designated area while taking in the dramatic surroundings.

After completing your crater exploration, ascend from the crater and begin your journey back toward Arusha.
