Day 01 :

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park & Karatu

Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha towards Lake Manyara National Park, located beneath the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment. Despite being one of Tanzania's smaller parks, Lake Manyara offers a remarkable diversity of landscapes, from groundwater forests and open grasslands to the scenic alkaline lake.

Enjoy a game drive through the park while searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, monkeys, hippos, flamingos, and the famous tree-climbing lions (if lucky). The park is also a paradise for bird lovers, hosting hundreds of bird species throughout the year.

After the game drive, continue to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 02 :

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive & Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive.

Often known as the "African Eden," the crater is home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in the world. Explore the crater floor while searching for the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and the endangered black rhino. You may also spot zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and many other species.

After enjoying a picnic lunch inside the crater, ascend and begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or evening. This marks the end of your memorable Tanzania safari experience.
