Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and begin your drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a full-day game drive inside the park.

Tarangire is well known for its large elephant population, diverse wildlife, and picturesque scenery dominated by baobab trees. During the game drive, you may spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and various bird species.

A picnic lunch will be served inside the park at a designated picnic site. In the late afternoon, you will drive to your lodge or campsite near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater and descend over 600 meters into the crater floor for a game drive.

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most unique wildlife destinations, offering an excellent chance to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and, with luck, the endangered black rhino—all within a single day.

After enjoying a picnic lunch inside the crater, you will ascend back to the rim and begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
