Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a full game drive through the park.

Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, seasonal swamps, and iconic baobab trees. Wildlife commonly seen includes lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, and a wide variety of bird species. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park.

In the late afternoon, you will drive to your lodge or campsite near Lake Manyara for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara National Park for a full game drive.

The park is known for its lush groundwater forests, open grasslands, and the alkaline lake that attracts flamingos and other bird species. During the game drive, you may encounter elephants, hippos, giraffes, baboons, monkeys, and, with luck, the famous tree-climbing lions.

After a picnic lunch, you will drive to your lodge or campsite near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater and descend into the crater floor for an unforgettable game drive.

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife areas, offering excellent chances to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and the rare black rhino—all within a compact area. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, you will ascend back to the rim and begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
