Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, you will enjoy an exciting game drive through the park.
Tarangire is known for its high concentration of elephants, especially during the dry season, as well as lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, and a wide variety of bird species. The park’s landscape is dotted with giant baobab trees and crossed by the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife throughout the year.
A picnic lunch will be served inside the park. In the late afternoon, you will drive to your lodge or campsite near Lake Manyara for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha
After breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive.
Lake Manyara is famous for its diverse ecosystems, ranging from dense groundwater forests to open grasslands and the alkaline lake itself. During the game drive, you may see elephants, giraffes, hippos, baboons, monkeys, and a rich variety of birdlife, including flamingos and pelicans. With some luck, you may also spot the park’s legendary tree-climbing lions.
After a picnic lunch, you will drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
